The Value of Sunday Schools
“Leaders of Christian work and business men generally feel that our social ills, economic, industrial and political, will lie largely solved by a programme of teaching righteousness to the children and youth of .every nation,” said Mr AV. C. Pearce, associate general secretary of the AVorld’s Sunday School Association, in the course of an interview with a “Lyttelton Times reporter. Mr Pearce is visiting the Dominion in connection with the work of the association, and his observations have led him to be greatly encouraged by the work the Sunday schools are doing in New Zealand, which he confidently expects to see become and remain one of the most spiritual and rigid eons countries in the world.
