He quotes Wilhelm as declaring that the Monarchy will return to Germany after some years hut I shall not come hack. Not only economically and industrially.’ but politically. Germany will some day be as ureat as before. Then we shall prove to the world we were not responsible for the war. Also, that I was not responsible. Wilhelm praised Herr Ebert stating lie was a capable man, and the right man for the place, granting that the place exists. While he respected Dr Rathenaii’s ability, lie considered him a danger to Germany, because he was a Jew. Wilhelm has developed a strong hostility to Jews and was also bitterly opposed to the Russian-Ger-man Rapallo Treaty. Wilhelm said he did not want to see Austria united with Germany. Discussing the Oriental question, he said lie believed the Young Turks will unite with the Egyptian Nationalists in forming the nucleus of a Moslem bloc. It would be n great pity if England gave up the Protectorate of Egypt. England had done an enormous amount of good to the Egyptians, who were quite unfit to administer tlieil* own country. AVilhelm said he was convinced there will soon be a great uprising in India.
