>— (Reprinted from The Sun, Wednesday, May 31st, 1022. Mr A T W Young, well-known motorist of Irwell, writes as fol—a distance of nearly 300 miles: — .Messrs Adams, Ltd. Irwell, May 24, 1922. Christchurch. Lear Sirs,—lt is with much pleasure that I gHjoywi the testimonial in connection with the Light Six S ' driven mv I purchased from your firm a few months ago. I have now drivenmy Light “Six’’ about 1200 miles, and up to date I have not had a stop, and I have not yet used half a gallon of oil. On a recent trip to Luncdin and return T was delighted with th^ wav the little car liehaved, and the flexibility of the Six c^“ tle I engine and the way the car took the hills was a. revelation to me. f had only to change gears once on the whole tnp, ant on journey the roads were especially bad. T used the car a grc. Luncdin, and would like to say that I did not have to ..-change Jo second gear once on any of the hills round about the toap.... return journey I bad an absolutely non-stop run with the economy “Six” and after leaving Timaru I made a very fast trip to my horn in Irwell, doing the distance in three hours, which was a very fin©, performance for a little car. I carefully worked out my petrol comminution for the above trip, and it estimated about 21 miles to the gallon, which I tlnnk is very creditable when one takes into consideration the number or small trips, averaging from three to five miles, which were mado_ yme round about Luncdin. I would al=o like to add that the Stndebaker Economy Light “Six” hangs to the road quite aB well as other cars T have driven, weighing from flewt to 7cwt more. In conclusion, I would like to say that all the other cars I have owned and driven have been “Four” cylinder models; and in my Opinion there is no comparison between the flexibility of the ‘ Four cvlindor engine and the Studebaker Light “Six.” ■' 1 (Signed) A. J. W. YOUNG. THE PRICE OF THIS WONDERFUL CAR IS $550. FOR FURTHER INFORMATION SEE THE LOCAL AGENTS. Clements Motors Ltd., Westland Agents for Studebaker Cars.
