ECONOMY MOTORING. ' (Reprinted from The Sun, Wednesday, May 31st, 1922. , l \ A - i; w - STrf'S”“• 1"? *• »-*» »“ rete ” —a distance of nearly 500 miles: Messrs Adams, Ltd. Irwell, May 24, 1922. Christchurch. Dear .Sirs, —It is with much pleasure testimonial in connection with the Light Si. ‘ driven my I purchased from your firm a few months ago. 1 have now dnven my Light “Six” about 1200 miles, and up to date I have not had a stop, and I have not yet used half a gallon of oil. On a recent trip to Dunedin and return T was delighted with the way the little car behaved, and the flexibility of the Six engine and the way the car took the hills was a revelat.on tome l had only to change gears once on the whole trip, and on the return journey the roads wore especially had T weed the car a g Dunedin, and would like to say that I did not have to c ‘ *7° second gear once on any of the hills round about the town. Un _y return journey I had an absolutely non-stop run with the Economy “Six” and after leaving Timaru I made a very fast trip t° my h in Irwell, doing the distance in three hours, which was a very fin . performance for a little car. I carefully worked out my petrol consfcmntion for the above trip, and'it estimated about 21 miles to the s&dlon, which I ■nn * creditable when one takes- into consideration the number orsmall trips, averaging fropi three to five miles, which 'were ma. 5,■ round about Dunedin. T would also like to add that the Studebakep Economy Light. “Six” hangs to the road quite as well as other cprs I have driven, weighing from fiqwt to 7cwt more. In conclusion, I would like to say that all the other cars I have owned and driven have been “Four” cylinder models, and in. my °pmion there is no comparison between the or the ro cylinder engine and the Stndebaker Light “Six.* (Signed) A. J. W. YOUNG. THE PRICE OF THIS WONDERFUL CAR IS £550 FOR FURTHER INFORMATION SEE THE LOCAL AGENTS. Clements Motors Ltd., Westland Agents for Stndebaker Cars.
