(Reprinted from Tlio Sim, Wednesday, May 31st, 1922. Air A J AV. Young, well-known motorist of Irwell, writes ns fol—a distance of nearly 500 miles: — Messrs Adams, Ltd. Irwell, May 24, 1922. 'Christchurch. Bear Sirs-,—lt is witlr nuieh pleasure that I give you the testimonial .in. connection with the Light “Sim Studc a I purchased from your firm a few months ago. I have no f Light “Six” about 1200 miles, and up to date I have not had a stop, and I have not yet used half a gallon of oil. „ On a recent trip to Dunedin and return I was delighted ,y*th the way the little car behaved and the flexibility of the Six cy engine and the way the car took the hills was a revelation to me. had only to change gears once on the whole trip, and on the r i journey the roads were especially bad. I used the car a great dea Dunedin, and would like to say that I did not have to changesecond gear once on any of the hills round about the. town. n my return journey I had an absolutely non-stop run with the Economy “Six” and after leaving Timaru I made a very fast trip to my nome in Irwell, doing the distance in three hours, which was a .very * ne performance for a little car. T carefully worked out my petrol eoiiEjtjmption for the above trip, and it estimated about 21 miles to the jjfcillon, which I think is very creditable when one takes into consideration the number of sm trips, averaging from three to five miles, which wore_ FUme by me round about Dunedin. I would also like to add that the Stuaebaker Economy Light “Six” hangs to the road quite as well as other cars I havo driven, weighing from 6owt to 7cwt more. In conclusion, I would like to say that all the other cars I have owned and driven hate been “Four” cylinder modelß, and in my opinion there is no comparison between the flexibility of the “Four cylinder engine and the Studebakor Light “Six.” (Signed) A. .T. W. YOUNG. THE PRICE OF THIS WONDERFUL CAR IS £550 FOR FURTHER INFORMATION SEE THE LOCAL AGENTS. Clements Motors Ltd., Westland Agents for Studebaker Cars.
