Mr Knox, manager of the ■ Bernina District Farmers’ Diarvmen’s Company* addressing the annual conference of the managers and secretary's of the Co-operative Dairy Factories,’ urged the Federal control of butter by means of a committee elected by producers of the three producing Sfntes, and thus wore tho cthUlsnftinn of the local price of butter irrespective of the markets of the world. A discussion showed that tho dolegates favoured the scheme. STRIKE AT RUBBER WORKS. SYDNEY, June 21. The non-unionist employee, who was the cause of the strike at Perdriaur Rubber Works has voluntarily resigned. ... The management is conferring with the union officials in the matter.
