THE ULSTER TERRORISM. LONDON, June 17

It is alleged a force of Ulster ’special’ constables entered a house in County Loutln at Dromintree, on the Ulster border, and abused the Catholic girls who were the sole ocoupants of the place. Arising out of this the Ulster constabulary had a three hour’s fight against Republican irregulars at Dromintree. The casualties were numerous. The fight followed tile alleged outrage of Ulster constabulary. A patrol of Ulster Constabulary was ambushed at Forkliili, south Armagh, one being killed and one injured. Two bullet-riddled bodies were found on the roadside at Lislea, in County Down, with the hands tied behind their backs. Nearby. was a cavity! It was due to the explosion of the land mine which bad flung the bodies 100 yards apart. The men have been identified as • Mr Crawley (auctioneer), and Mr O'Regan (a fanner). It is reported they were caught red-handed working a mine in order to wreck a police car, and that they were thus summarily executed by the exploding of the mine.

At Sligo East and Mayo several agents of Independent.candidates have been kidnapped, add their whereabouts are unknown. . The polling results for four Resits in the Dail Eireann for the Irish National University, are announced. There were two Independent candidates, besides a panel of two Treatyites and two Republicans standing. The result is the election of two Treatyites, one Republican, and one of the two Independent Treatyites. After the votes Were counted, Rory O’Connor and 12 others raided the premises and carried «tf the ballot, boxes.
