Princess Chrysanthemum
'l'lie success of tlie opera to lie produced at the Princess Theatre to-mor-row night appears to he assured. There has been substantial hooking, which indicates a large attendance. The opera was staged with marked success in Grey mouth last week. Praeticalh all the performers hail from the north, and will arrive by special train, returning home again after the performance. The opera will be staged with the same completeness as at Greymouth—scenery, stage mounting, and Pollard’s orchestra. Mrs Stnveley of Hokitika, is the producer, and Mr Uestieaux is the musical conductor. The reports from the north all speak highly of what is a very bright and pleasing entertainment, with plenty of variety in song and dance.
