An erroneous idea regarding the uses to which the Expeditionary Force Canteen Funds arc to be put is held by many ex-soldiers, according to the annual report of tbe . N.Z.R.S.A. The impression, it is stated, emanated from a report adopted at tbe last Dominion council meeting, in which tbe Canteen Funds Disposal Board was recommended that the interest from the fund should be applied to the requirements of naval defence. The erroneous idea had gained ground that it was proposed that the whole ol the canteen funds should he voted for naval propaganda, whereas only the interest, about CfiOOO, was suggested. The resolution, it was pointed out, was merely a suggestion to tip. Pispospl BofipU
