He was met by a black look and some uncomplimentary remarks about his manners. “I am not going to sign the register in your presence,” she said to him, ‘‘please meet me outside.” He refused to leave, so hastily adding her signature she went straight to the door that gavo exit to another staircase and left the bridegroom to leave by the main door.
