Encores were the order ot the evening. indeed all the solo numbers and duets received a recall. At the eonelusion, the Rev Archdeacon Carr Priedv thanked all who had contributed to the success of the production, spe chilly thanking Airs Staveley, whom the audion e insistently called liefore the curtain. Quite a bevy of floral and toothsome tributes were showered on t’u' various performers, thus concludin'* the entertainment in a mannei which is sure to appeal most to the little recipients. ’! lie opera will he staged at Hokitika mxl Thursday night.
