RELIGIOUS TEACHING IN SCHOOLS. AUCKLAND, June 7. The Board of Education upheld the action of Lewins, headmaster of Rotorua Public School, in objecting to religious instruction being given during school hours, these being under the control of the Board of Education, not of the School Committee.
