POLLARD’S PICTURES. DOUBLE STAR—TO-NIGHT. The first star picture is Rex Beach’s great story “Partners of the Night” produced by the Goldwyn Film Coy., with an all-star caste. The second star is ‘ Cousin Kate” starring Alice Joyce, The role of “Cousin Kate” is one that might hae been written for lovely Alice Joyce. It is her happiest part up-to-date. The heroine is a successful novelist—writer of problem books—yet in spite of fame and a host of friends she is lonely. The men in her life have been of two types—the ones she loved and the ones who loved her. But they were never the same. Mr Right had always been wrong. It was mutual attraction at sight. This man she had casually met in the train held all the promise of the romance which had passed her by. ___
