At a. meeting of the Committee of_ the Westland A. and I’. Association held to-day, .Mr !.. M. M.nxd was appointed to represent the Association as delegate at the Conference with the Premier at Christchurch on .Monday.
Ihe proposed visit ol inspection hy the Countv Chairman and Hiding mouthers to tile Kokatahi and Kuiteruugi district arranged tor I 1 ridav next has heen postponed until a later ditto owing to the inability of the Chairman to attend in view of his going overland the next day to attend the Conference with tlie Premier at Christchurch.
Tt is notified in this issue that James’ Motor Service will he inaugurated on Monday next. The cars will leave Kokatahi on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 9 am. for Hokitika, the return leaving the Railway Hotel, llokitiKs<, at I p.in. Passengers and all sorts of goods and merchandise will he carried. Full particulars on application to James Motor Depot, Kokatahi.
