A noteworthy cast is in support of the de Haven’s, William Desmond, who is himself one of the stellar system, contributes a very jealous and a very loving Mr Hawkins, while Helen Raymond, who created the role in the the original stage production, gives a perfect comedy portrayal of Signora Monti. The supports include the latest gazette, educational and comedy. MCLEAN’S PICTURES. “DANGEROUS LIES.”-TO-NIGHT. “Dangerous Lies”a new Paul Powell production for Paramount, screened in England, will lie shown to-night. It is a well-worth-while photoplay, for it has been splendidly produced, the acting is artistic, the story appealing, and the photography of the highest grade. The story of the trouble of an impoverished English rector’s daughter, who marries the man who ruined her father, and who dissembles when she is wooed by a man she really loves, is exceptionally dramtie. When she hears of her husband's death and marries again only to learn that her former husband is alive, a series of highly thrilling incidents follow. David Powell dues some of his best work as Sir TTeniy Bond, while Mary Glynne, as Joan Fnrrant, never appeared to finer advantage. The supporting company is excellent. The story was written by F. Phillips Oppenhoim. The supports Include a Mack Sennett comedy and the serial “King of the Circus.” Matinees have been cancelled until uftcr the football season is over.
