POLLARD’S PICTURES. “CONFESSION” TO-NIGIIT. ' Tlio long-talked of picture “Confession” to be presented by E. J. and Dan Carroll in the Princess Theatre tonight, is not a sectarian picture. It is seven reels of superlative entertainment, playing upon all t.lio finer emotions with a story that holds the attention of men, women and children alike. The settings and scenery are simply gorgeous, and, as a production, many unequalled critics unhesitatingly place it beside such super-features as “The Birth of a Nation” and “Broken Blossoms.” Cardinal Gibbons, who witnessed the play in New York, together with the clergy of all denominations, wrote to the producer, “That is the first work of the kind I have ever recommended.” The marvellous dramatic genius, Henry B. Walthall is seen at his best as Father Bartlett. Mother love is the universal tie which binds all people together, no matter what the nationality, no matter what the environment, the love of a mother is universal, and the love of a mother for her young is as everlasting as the Bock 'of Ages. In “The Confession,” the 1 mother is wonderful in her love and 1 loyalty, and there has never been a more | artistic picture since the art ol dis- ! covery of making them. Prices to-night j will he dress circle 2s, plus tax, stalls Is plus tax.
