Air Justice Hill severely castigated both parties. "Tile story of the courtship.” he said “was disgrac ed ill, more disgraceful tu the husband, because lie was older. ‘I be evidence as to the noruriomos of that period was not reliable. There had been legal cruelty, but it had been condoned.’ The husband wilhdiow his ernsspetitiou. While Mr Justice Hill was giving his judgment, the husband was driving a motor ear in a speed 1 1 i:t 1 at Brooklands.
