ADDINGTON ST OF, K MARKET. A STEADY market. (Ely Telegraph.— Special to Guardian.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Messrs Matson and Co., report as totlows regarding their stock sale yesterday:— ' , Store Sheep- A larger yarding, and the bulk of the entry, comprised wethers which were decidedly easier than last weeks sale. Rest forward from , 10s to 17s (id, others from 12s to los. Best sound mouth ewes, from ICs to 21s, others from 14s Gd. Best rape lam'h. Ills to 15s, others from 11s. Store , lambs from 7s to 10s Gd. The market! generally was easier all round, and the sales were harder to make. i Store cattle—A better yarding than for some time, including some excellent quality as well as some very indifferent lots. A good demand throughout I graziers operating freely. Good 4 years steers £4 5s to £G 2s Gd ; 3 years ditto, I £3 10s to £4 15s; 2 years £2 os to £2 j 7s G.l; yearlings 22s Gd to 355. Two year old lieifers £4 to £4 13s; yearlings 40s to 555; good cows 25s to 355; others down to 12s Gd. I Beef- Another large yarding, hut not quite so many as at last sale. Several lots of magnificent cattle, but also a large proportion of lighter and unfinisher sorts. The market was veiy erratic throughout, and showed little quotable difference from last week. Prime steers £lO to £l3 15s; extra special to £lB ss; one line of 12 extra good steers averaging £l7 ss;; medium £G 10s to £0 15s; others £5 to £7 2s Gd. Prime heifers, £o to £( 15s; others £3 to £1 15s; prime cows £1 to £G los; others £2 10s to £3 15s. Aluttnn—A smaller yarding than last

week and a preponderance of ewes. - The market was (inner all round, except for light and inferior ewes. Freezing bn vers were operating freely. Prime wethers 22s to 20s; extra to 21s; medium l!Js to 21s 6d; others down to 15s !)d ; prime ewes 17s 6d to 2ls 01; extra to 255; medium 11s to 17s; lighter Us fid to 13s 6d; inferior down to Bs. A small yarding of lambs with practically no difference in last week’s quotations.
