W. W. Nolan, surrender of timber civil, Bruce Bay.—Accepted. .ins. Miiiehan (Mr Sellers) certificate of protection for 12 months.—Granted. Midland .Sawmilling Coy.- (.Mr Murdoch- for certiiicate of protection for six months.—Granted.
11. G. Honey (Mr Murdoch) for handsawing and timber splitting license over 2d acres, Kiimarn. Counsel argued at length that the Warden had jurisdi. tion over the area applied for. The uarden stated he would give judgment in favor of applicant, but would adjourn the decision till next Court day, when lie would supply a written judgment as the mattei was one of importance for future guidance and practice.
