Mr Lloyd George, while regarding the Eastern Galician frontier question ns dangerous, said to-day he thought that with the truce proposed, the difficulty would lie removed. Therefore it is wiser not to press the question at this stage. He thought tlitft Hungary and Bulgaria should be allowed to hfiml the conference their statements regarding the treatment of minorities. •It is understood this course will sal'sfy both countries and that the conference should hand statements to League of Nations.
HAGUE PROPOSAL ACCEPTED. GENOA. May 17. Russians in accepting the conference strongly protested against its bein' 4eld at Hague and sug-ested Riga.. Stockholm, Rome or London. 1 bey also protested against the exclusion ot Germans from, the proposed mixed commission. Tchitcherin informed the conference thnt Russians welcomed the pro posed nonage;ression pact. Mr I .loyci George said he desired the pact to extend even to Asiatics. Tchitcherin replied that so fa ras Russia was concerned the pact could he made to apply to nil Russian frontiers.
