POLLARD'S PICTURES. TO-NIGHT I TO-NIGHT 11 To-night in the Princess Theatre Pollards will screen ‘‘Rare Fisted Gallagher,” featuring- William Desmond, a role that is a delightful blend of comedy and drania. He is at home in a character of this sort, a mingling of the melodramatic with richly humorous situations, and his Celtic face and genial personality register genuineness and wholesomeness. “Rarefisted Gallagher” is a breezy and big-hearted Texan who, after inheriting some mining property from his uncle in California, starts out to run to earth a mysterious bandit who has been robbing the stage of ore belonging to the mine. The cowboy falls in love with a pretty mountain girl, whose father, tin known to Gallagher, had been defrauded of his interest in the mine hv his uncle. There is a corking good fight in the picture wltcre Desmond and “Aliso Pete” come to grips in a shallow mountain stream. THURSDAY. To-morrow’s (Thursday) star feature, “One Hour Before Dawn,” features H. R. Warner. The drama is far from being the usual type of murder mystery, for it is one that will challenge the keenest of minds.
