POLLARD’S PICTURES.
Monday night’s picture programme in the Princess Theatre is a comedy one, consisting of a comedy drama, presenting Constance Talmadge in The First National picture “ Lessons in Love,” an adaptation of the famous comedy, “ The Man from Toronto,” which proved such a success when played in New Zealand by J. C. 'William* son’s company, and the roaring farcical “ Snooky ” play “ The Best Pet. “ Lessons in Love” displays nil the newest and snappiest tricks in love and the part of the Venus de Smilo, tho whimsical, and flirtatious heroine of the story is suited to Miss Talmadge’s unusual talents, and her interpretation of it is truly delightful. Kenneth Harian again distinguishes himself as her leading man. There is a strong supporting cast in the feature.
