AMUSEMENTS.
POLLARD’S PICTURES. This Thursday evening Pollards present another big feature in “The Faith of the Strong,” featuring the favourite performer Big Mitch Lewis, in n mighty drama of forests and free places, of open hearts, and closed fists. In “The Faith of the Strong” M] Lewis is seen as Paul La Rue, a fearless ami lawless member of the lumber camp of Louis Roy. The camp is divided into two factions, one the lawless element, the other the church supporting population which lives under the government of the kindly little village Minister. The story takes the audience to the far readies of civilisation. There are fights and deaths, but out of the chaos there appears one person who is able to lead La Rue to the light.
