HOW THE BLIND LIVE.
TOWN HAiX SUNDAY AFTERNOON. ADDRESS BY CLUTHA Mackenzie alp, Air Clutha Alackenzie has a message to the people of AVestlnnd on behalf of those who, blind like himself, have a claim to be provided ag.-i.. want in their already hard lot. In bis effort to remove the blind from the need of charity and street begging and to educate them up to utility and independence, he aims to secure the New Zealand quota of an Empire-wide memorial to the late sir Arthur Pearson. Alilton, in his blindness, makes Samson say:—“Dark, dark irrevocably d total eclipse within the blaze of noon.” All- Clutha Alackenzie appeals for the civilian blind of the Dominion, and not for tlie blind soldiers who, he states are magnificently provided for. Air Alackenzie will speak at the Town Hall, Hokitika, at 3 o’clock next Sunday afternoon. There should be a crowded attendance for so philanthropic an occasion.
