This morning as lie was preparing to leave his house in the Rue dii l.aos, she eii_ tered his study and asked him lor an explanation. M. Raessert, it appears, refused to enter into a discussion. Mine • Raessert then fired at him twice, wounding him in the neck and herd. She then opened the window, and walking out- on to the balcony, placed the revolver to her mouth, and in full view of tlie piosois-by, pressed the trigger. Mme Raessert fell hack (lean across the low railing of the balcony and crashed into the street BO:t below.
