A settler at Forster reports he found on the beach at Elizabeth Point, nine hatch boards and the port iron of a table and some rigging. This wreckage is believed to he from ,the missing barque. N.S.W. WHEAT POOL. SYDNEY, May 5. The chairman of the Voluntary Wheat Pool gives a. cheering review of its work. Out of 23,000,000 bushels received by the pod. 12,000,000 bushels were sold locally and overseas, at an average price of 5s 6Jd per bushel; and 3,000.000 bushels retained for local consumption. The hulk of the bagged wheat lias l>oen already handled, including that from the districts where there was a.n immediate danger from rat and mouse plagues. The administrative charges amounted to Jd a bushel. When all charges are met. it is anticipated the farmers will receive from 4s 8d to 5s per bushel.
