POLLARD’S PICTURES.
One of the most potent problems of society, that of inter-marrying of creeds ,“The Oath,” starring Miriam Cooper, Conway Tenrle and Anna Q. NilsOn will be the starring vehicle on Pollard’s picture programme to be presented at tile Princess Theatre on next Monday evening. This picture is from the novel “Idols,’ by William J. Locke, and deals with the marriage of a beautiful Jewess to a Gentile, showing that in spite of the law of creed, ‘Thou shalt not inter-marry,” the' law of the love of one being for another knows no barrier. This picture has been lavishly produced and among many dramatic situations that arise in the play is that in which an innocent woman brands liofself in the open court as being guilty of a crime of which she is really innocent. in order to sav t > her husband’s best friend.
