ARAMURA FAT'STOCK SAI.K. Yesterday’s entries at the above Yards comprised 02 fat sheep, 50 head fat cattle and 3 venlers. The market 1 ? ing a fairly good one for quality, though no ox beef was yarded, which tended to keep prices down. Competition did not improve on last month’s sale, and beef made from 18s to 22s (id per hundred. The sheep, which were light, sold well up to prices recorded at other markets. Messrs W. Jeffries and Co. sold tho following:—For Mr Jno. AfeGregor, 31 ewes and wethers at 19s Gd, and 31ditto at 19s; on account Messrs Sullivan Bros., 3 heifers at £G 7s Gd, 3 at £5 15s, 2 at £5 7s Gd, 3 at £5 ss. and 3 at £5; on account Mr T. Stopforth, 3 vealers at Cl 10s each; on account Mr F. 0. Williams, 2 heifers at Co 12s Gd, 2 at £5 ss, 7 at £5 2s Gd, 2 at £4 15s. Several pens of this vendors cattle were passed, not reaching the owner’s reserve. M. Houston and Co. report:—At the nhovp yards yesterday, our entry consisted of 43 head of cattle, the hulk of which were handy weight heifers. There was only a moderate attendance of buyers, but th e full yarding was cleared under the hammer at prices on a, par with recent sales. We sold on account of Messrs Sullivan Bros: 4 heifers at £5 10s, G at £5 15s, 3 at £5, 6 at £5, 8 at £4 15s; on account of Mr B. A. Hareourt, 2 bullocks at £9 7s Gd, 2 at £8 12s Gd, 2 at £8 ss, 2 heifers at £5 17s Gd, 2 at £5 15s; on account of Mr A. Jamieson 1 cow at £3 ss; on account of W. Houston, 2 store cows at 32s Gd, 1 springer at £5; on account Jim. Bradley, 2 cows at £4 10s.
