WEDDING BELLS.

ECCLESFIELD—STEWART. 1 A very pretty wedding was solemnised at St Andrew’s Church, Levin, on Wednesday, April 19th, between Aliss Aland N. Stewart, youngest daughter of Airs E. J. Stewart, of Arapaepae Road, Levin, and Air Tlios A. Ecelosfield, the popular settler of ICokatahi. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev Bnwden Harris, and Aliss Williamson presided at the organ. The church, which was prettily decorated by the friends of the bride, was well filled with guests and other well wishers of the bride, who was very popular in the district. The bride, who entered the church, oil the arm of her brother (Air W. Stewart) looked very charming in an ivory crepe lie client’ and georgette dress, with the orthodox wreath and veil. She was attended by Aliss Alargaret Diamond of Foxton, as biidesmaid, who wore a very pretty frock of pale blue satin and georgette, with a picture hat to match. Air W. C. Cooper,of Christchurch, attended the bridegroom as best man. A reception after the marriage service took place at the Druids Hall. Levin, about seventy guests being present to do honour to the newly married couple. The happy couple left for the south by car amid .showers of confetti and good wishes, the bride travelling in a nigger brown costume with hat to match. They will make their In me at Kokatnhi, returning at the end of the present weelj. Both are well-known in this district, and carry the best of good wishes of a large number ol fiiends for their future happiness and pi osperity.

STEWABT-DINNAN. A quiet but pretty wedding took place on Saturday afternoon at Cobdon. when Aliss Matilda Dinnau was united in holy matrimony to AlrJ. Blair Stewart. The ceremony t- ok place at the residence of the bride s sister. Mrs G. \Y. Simpson, and it was per formed by the Rev. Father AltAlnniigite of Greynioiith. The bridesmaids were Alisses K. Kirk and 1). Schultz, while Mr R. Dinnan porfoimcd the duties of best man. After the ceremony, a numerous party of guests were entertained at afternoon tea and the Re . Father AliAlonague proposed the toast of the happy couple which was duly honored. They were also the rcc.ptents of many presents, including sever, id substantial cheques.
