Association, by its executive, congratulated the Hon the i Premier and the Minister for Posts I and Telegraphs on their decisive, if belated, pronouncement, that the P. and T. Officers will not he permitted to , ally with the Alliance of Labour, and j regrets that this body of the public serI vice has so departed from the high J ethics of their profession as to seek to | abandon their independence on and i responsibility to the only supreme au- ! thority of the Dominion.”—Seconded ; hv Mr .Morel and carried.
