Lady Astor, the English lady M.P. \vlu> had received a tremendous ovation on her arrival in America, and had been warmly received everywhere, is suffering her first setback. This is owing to Roman Catholic opposition. The setback is the result of a speech in which she advised the Church to keep out of politics. She said that she wished to point out that while Roman Catholics were welcome in America, the country’s foundation was Protestant, and Roman Catholics must remember that.
