ICSTUALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. HUSH AGREEMENT REACHED. DECISION LEFT TO THE ELECTORS. LONDON, April 24.^ The “Westminster Gazette’s” Dublin correspondent states he understands authoritatively an agreement has been reached between the military leaders of the Republican and the Free State sections of the Irish Army for a cessation of hostilities. The agreement is purely a military one, and does not affect the political issue. The people are to be left freely to pronounce upon the treaty. A STREET SHOOTING. LONDON, April 24. A concealed sniper shot Corr aged 70, dead in the middle of Park Street. BELFAST KILLINGS. ’Received This Day at 8 a.m.) LONDON, April 24. Sibhinson, a time-keeper, was shot while working in an office. Two intruders emptied their revolvers into him and escaped. The police say a bomb thrown at St Matthews Church Belfast, was intended for three police entering the chapel.
