AR-AHURA STORE STOCK SALE

A sale of surplus Store cattle and sheep was held at the Aralmra Yards on Thursday, the yarding comprising 100 sheep and lambs 70 head cattle and 2 horses which were submitted to a moderate attendance of buyers. Prices recorded wore considered good in view of the general decline in prices prevailing at other markets. Sheep and lambs sold particularly well. Messrs AY. Jeffries and Co. record the following sales: —On account Air .Jas Nolan, 20 f. and L lambs at 15s Gd, 20 at 15s, and 22 at 14s 6d. On account of a client ”> fat* wethers at 24s and 40 four tooth ewes at 22s Gd. On account of Air T. Staines 6 f. and I. steers at £5 19s Gd. 1 half draught marc £l2. On account Mr Reynolds 3 two year steers at £3 7s Gd. On account Air Donovan, it f. and f. steers at £5 3s Gd, 1 cow at £3 ss. On account Air R. Speed, 5 two year steers at £3 Gs, I vealer at 11s. On account Air D. Agnew, 2 heifers at £2 9s, 3 dry cows at £2 3s Gd. On account Air Bradley. 2 heifers at £2 Is, 2 dry cows at £\ Bis. On account All's Douglas 1 steer at £3. On account Air AY. Bond, 1 jersey bull at £B. On account Mr P. Kirwaii, 1 dry cow at £2 15s. On account Air AY. Rea 1 dry cow £1 10s. On account Air J. Hewer one light harness mare £7 ss. Several pens were passed not reaching owner’s ideas of values.
