EARTHQUAKE SHOCK

DAMAGE AT QUEENSTOWN

DUNEDIN, April 17

A shaip shook of earthquake was felt here at 6.10 p.m. to-day. It lasted several seconds and the direction appealed to be south-east to north-west. No clanige was done in the city, but it is reported that damage was done at Queenstown . The shock was also felt at Cromwell.
