PRINCE OF WALES.
REUTER'S TELEGRAMS. TOKIO’S GREETINGS. TOKIO, April 15. Rain interfered somewhat with th? festivities yesterday. Tlie Prince attended services at the Episcopal Church and unveiled a memorial to British war victims buried in Tokio, and another to British officers in connection with, the Embassy who bad died for Ring and Country. At night he attended a ster lantern parade led by Baron Got->, Mayor of Tokio. The Prince was delighted with the novelty of the drive through the two miles route of swaying light and colour, and continuous thua der of “banjais.” He is being ove'whelmed with gifts and addresses from all quarters. To-day he witnessed a march past of a full division of the Imperial Guard, the flower of the army in service bit, in the presence of a brilliant assemblage of members of the Imperial Court and Government diplo matic corps. The Prince of Wales was made honorary general of the Japan>se army and wore the. Japanese uniform of that rank. Subsequently lie attended Good Friday service at the Eng lish Church.
