HOlllllMY PROGRAMME

On Easter Monday, Pollards will present to Hokitika patrons in the Princess Theatre, a Mammoth Holiday Triple Star Programme screening the gigantic masterpiece “Madonnas and Men” a startling and cyclonic drama of Rome and New York and two clever and really funny farce comedies in “A 'Fjresh Staijtf o —the first of the now famous “Mermaid” Pictures and “Solid Concrete” another good Larry Semon comedy. “Madonnas and Men” is daring in its theme, illustrating the lust, debauchery and cruelty to women as depicted in the scenes of

midnight revels in the tottering days of Rome and in the midnight revels of modern New York. No better programme of pictures has beenn placed before a Hokitika, audience—starting with the Gazette, every picture for photography—incident, fun and story stands in the front rank, and:, will challenge comparison into anything; yet screened, Pollards usual prices will be charged.
