Postal Arrangements.

On Good Friday, 14tli April, the Post Office will be closed in all branches. The Greymouth and Overland mailwill close on Thursday, 13th inst, at 8 p.m. All other limits usually despatched on Friday will lie suspended, but on Thursday, 13th there will he a*delivery over the public counter, between 7 and 8 p.m. on arrival of overland mails by motor car. Ordinary letters and registered only will be delivered.

The Telegraph Office will be closed all day. The Telephone Exchange open from 9 to 10 a.m. and 5 to 0 p.m. On Easter Monday, 17th April, the Post Office will he open in all branches (except money order and savings bank) from 9to 10 a.m. The Greymouth and Overland mails, also mails for the Ross line will close at 8 a.m. All other mails usually despatched on Monday will be suspended. The Telegraph Office open from 9to 10 a.lll. and 7 to 8 p.m. Telephone Exchange open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Private box lobby— Sunday hours on Good Friday, and open as usual on Faster Monday. *

There will be no delivery by the postmen on Good Friday and Easter Aloll- - but morning and afternoon deliveries will be made 011 Saturday, loth inst.

At Blenheim, Gisborne, Masterton, and New Plymouth attendance restricted on Easter Monday to 9 to 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight.
