SYDNEY, April 12. At the Show, In the Clydesdale Section, the New Zealand bred Stedman, secured first prize as three-year old stallion. Lady Ida, another Now Zealand bred won first prize as a four-year-old mare. , THE LABOUR PARTY. SYDNEY, April 12. A section of the new Labour Party has lost no time in providing the necessary administrative machinery. A new central executive has been appointed and branches arc already formed in many country centres. A report from Melbourne states sincei the split caused by the expulsion of Mr Oatts, many Trades’ Unionists are seceding from the movement, and applying for membership in the Nationalist Federation.
