No, expense has been spared in making this feature a gigantic production, i neither have any pains been spared in ' making the feature one of the most spectacular ever screened. The wreck scen 0 surpasses anything yet witnessed on the screen. Hundreds of panicstricken people fighting frenziedly for ipllaces in the life-boats, while the ship’s officers with loaded guaranteed the unwritten law. of. the sea “Women and children first,” comprise some of the spectacular scenes which mark this picture as a master production. In this extraordinary production there are Bacchanalian scenes of overwhelming splendour—an eye feast of beauty and showering petals—great arches meeting like the fingers of giants in prayer—and below, amid unparalleled magnificence the wedding—and the staggering climax. Tom Pollard’s Greymouth orchestra, under the conductorship of Mr Fred Restieaux has been specially engaged for the rendering of appropriate selections for the screening of Thou H.
