Air and Mrs T. McGuire and family, who have been residents of Riinii for ihe past six years, are leaving on Thursday to reside at Brunner in the future. Since they have resided at Rimu they have made hosts ol friends and it is with regret that Rimu is losing them. It will he Brunner’s gain and |{mill's loss. Air .McGuire and his partners have erected a new sawmill at Kaimata and everyone wishes them success in their venture.

The gathering was a very jolty one, and a most cordial greeting was tendered Airs Seddon on her first visit to the far south. The party will he travelling north to-morrow, making Taupirikaka the first stage. Mr Thomas ■Noh’u will lie their guide on the north trip to the AVaiho Gorge.
