[by telegraph—per press association] HAWKE CUP MATCH. NELSON, March 31. A match for the Hawke Gup commenced to-day in fine weather. Nelson, in their first innings, made 109. Tronson took six wickets for nine runs. Wanganui, at the close of the day’s play, had lost eight wickets for 157 runs. Holland (not out) is 91.
