ANNUAL MEETING OF DELEGATES. WEDNESDAY, A 1 ARCH 29th.
The annual meeting of delegates was hold at Mclntosh’s club-rooms at 7.30 p.iru. There were present Messrs D.. R. Dowell, T. Gillooly, G. Adamson, G. Shaw, M. Houston, J. <L Breeze D. McMannaway, J. Hagar, F. McGregor, and E. W. Heenun (secretary).* Mr F. McGregor was voted to the chair. Mr Gillooly stated the Kiwi Club desired to suggest that an executive ibe formed, instead of delegates acting. The election of officers was then proceeded with. President. —Messrs F. McGregor
and! A. H. Lawn were proposed, Mr 1 J l . McGregor being elected by 5 votes | to 3. In taking the chair Mr F. Mc- | Gregor expressed his appreciation of tho ' honor conferred and stated he would do his best to advance the in-
terests of the Sub-union. Vroe-Presideuto:— Messrs A. H. fLiawn, C. J- P. Sellers, and A. D. MeGayock. Secretary.—Mr E. W. Heenan. Treasurer. —Mr G. Adamson. Auditor.—Mr M. Houston. Selection Committee Messrs H. Butland, T. Gillooly and G. Shaw. Delegate) to West Coast Rugby Union.— Mr C. Rose to bo asked to act. Grounds official.—Mr W. Cartel. Timekeepers—Messrs A. W. Yarrall, and F. McGregor. The following entries for the Club competitions were received:— SENIORS. Kiwis, Excelsior, Pirates, Kokatahi, Hnri Han 0,1(1 Diners—six teams
JUNIORS. Kiwi, Excelsior, Kokatahi and ITari Hari- four teams.
It was resolved that all nominations close on Tuesday next and that the competitions commence on Saturday, April 29th. s Mr J. J. Breeze stated he had ordered a shield for presentation for a sev-en-aside tournament. —Received with thanks. The donor asked that the shield be competed for hv Sub-union teams only, the necessary arrangements to be made by the Sub-union.

It was resolved that Air D. McLeod Im appointed custodian of jerseys in the pavilion. Mr D. McATannaway suggested that no member other than the Referees Association delegate, act as a delegate to the union. The suggestion did not meet with approval. Correspondence was read from the Had Hari Club applying for affiliation. ATr Houston supported the application, and explained their proposed mode of travelling, which would he conducted row cheaply. Tho application was approved. Mr McATannaway moved that home •ind home matches be played at Hari Hari. Seoon ded by AH Dowell and carried.
After other business had been dealt with, the meeting adjourned until the following Wednesday evening at 8 o’clock, a- vote of thanks being accorded the President for presiding.
