Messrs M. Houston anrl Co. report: j We held a sale of store stock at the above yards yesterday, there being a good entry of young cattle. There was only a moderate attendance of buyers i with the result that competition was j dull and a large proportion of the yarding was passed. We sold on account of Mr T. O’Neill, 9 fat ewes at 20s; on account of Mrs Baird, 47 lambs at 11s 9d, 10 store lambs at 9s, 10 ewes at 16s; on account of Messrs Smith Bros. 14 calves at 225, 1 cow and vealer at C2 12s 6d; on account of Mr J. Fleming, 8 21 year steers at £3 14s; 1 8 months steer at 20s; on account of Mr T.
