Last week at Palmerston North. Hon C. J. Parr, Minister of Education. opened the new Campbell St. State school with befitting ceremony. There was a large attendance, imd

The Minister said he was exceedingly proud of the now 1 school which with the infant school, had cost together £32,000, but the expense was justified, as it was one of the largest schools in the Dominion. Over four million per annum was now being spent by the Department on Education, and his regret was that they could not spend more. Mr L.
