METEOROLOGICAL.
Lev. L. C. Bates, Government Meteorologist announced the following forecast at noon to-day: The indications are lor northerly winds, strong to gale and backing by west to south. The weather will probably prove very boisterous. Heavy rain is to he expected with rivers rising shortly, Barometer unsteady hut rising after about l(i hours- Seas very henry, tides good on the Opart.
