JAPANESE UNREST. (Received This Day at 8 a.m.) TOKIO, March 18
A resolution was introduced by the Opposition expressing lack of confidence in the Government. Ibis was defeated, the Government receiving a majority of 100 votes. There is considerable fear, caused by attempts of political assassins following yesterday’s promature bomb explosion. Bitter opposition attacks against the Government in the Diet, caused widespread unrest.
JAPAN’S PRINCE THREATENED. Received This Day at 8 a.m.) LONDON, March 18. Prince Xaionji who is ill in Tokio. received a series of letters stating un]e.s;i lie dies of sickness, lie will be assassinated when lie leaves the House regardless of the number of his guards. Viscount Kyoura, President of the Privy Council has also been threatened.
GANDHI SENTENCED. DELjH.I, March 18. Gandhi has lieen sentenced six years simple imprisonment.
