Irish republican troops are gathering in stronger forces on the borders of Alonnghan and Tyrone. Many houses and halls have been commandeered.. The Free (State Govern meat has commandeered Castle Bhiyney which has been the Republican barracks. The Republicans retaliated and commandeered an hotel where they are quartered. The town is now divided into two armed camps.
