AVBTBALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION SELECTING A CREW. MELBOURNE, March 18. The Federal Cabinet has determined to assert its authority on the arrival of the Hobsons Bay in Australia, and to insist that the captain lnn'o absolute control in selecting the crew. If the Union dictates, the vessel will be thrown idle.
A FLOUR CLAIM
MELBOURNE, March 18,
Mr Hughes announced in the House of Representatives that the Wheat Board, millers, shippers and South African Government had reached a satisfactory settlement of the claim arising from flour which South Africans said was of inferior quality.
