Tremhalh (the ex-amateur champion), Invercargill, 1; Symister (Christ- I church) 2; Nalir (Westport) 3 The AH Black three-quarter, Jack Steel, was running second, but fell three yaids from the tape. Time 53 1-5 secs. j One Mile New Zealand Champion-, ship.—L. Coulter (Geraldine) 1; Sutli- ' orhuul (Palmerston South) 2. Won by fen yards. Time 4.40 1-5 i Trembath won the 440 yards Handicap in 51 1-5 secs The Cash cycling results were as follows;.—- 1 Two Miles New Zealand Championship. —P. O’Shea (Christchurch) 1; Birch (Christchurch) 2; Jumbo Wells (Blenheim) 3. Won very easily. Time 5.41. Rive Mile.-; Australasian Championship.—George Hill (Canterbury) 1.
