AMUSEMENTS.

POLLARD’S PICTURES.

“THE LEOPARD WOMAN.” MONDAY.

“The Leopard Woman” from the Story by Stewart Edward White, adapted to the screen by the Associated Producers will be the attraction at the Princess Theatre on Monday. The beautiful Louise Glaum is in the star rpje with the popular House Peters playing opposite her. The story of “Th e Leopard Woman” is a colourful tale of a race into the African Congo of two people, the one John Culbertson on a diplomatic mission for a large European power and Madame the Leopard Woman so called by Culbertson, who meets her when he is plodding through the heat of the desert to reach hi s destination. The atmosphere of the Congo with its unique Negro characters has been faithfully reproduced and from a spectacular standpoint, the picture does credit to the work of the author. Miss Glaum in the role of a diplomatic Agent bound on a dangerous mission has a part which suits her admirably, while the acting of House Peters is that of a powerful and dominating character. The latest edition of the popular Pathe Gazette and a side splitting Two Reel Vitagraph comedy will also be shown.
